If there is room, a note linking RT to the @ [username] part of the tweet would be inserted (as in the image above). However, this is not feasible forever due to the 140-character constraint.
A large number of Twitter applications currently have an RT button which completes the entire lot for you, so click retweet to present it. Then transforming the tweets that receive your attention is extremely easy.

Similarly, hashtags are identical to the focus line on emails: they advise the reader of the topic under discussion (and anybody who evaluates tweets). They may be at the end of a tweet or implanted in the tweet.
Whether you implant or place the hashtag in the final part of the tweet, a Twitter search or a trendy report would reveal it. There are two websites that route the use of Twitter hashtags, and these are helpful information if you plan to use a hashtag, even when you are unsure whether or not the hashtag is used. You can also classify hashtags on the website.
